For a photographer, contact sheet is something that he would not liketo show to public.
It contains every moment which interested him and they can never be erased once they are exposed.

Therefore, it could have many of his feelings even between the unexposed moments.

It is obvious that the final print is a function of highlighted and hidden emotions or feelings.
More than anything, however, what I would like to ask myself with this
contact sheet is 'How do you take a picture of someone you deeply love?'

コンタクトシートは、写真家にとって、秘密のメモ書きのようなものです。

それには、写真家の興味を惹きつけたすべての瞬間が記されていて、二度とは消すことのできないものです。もっと注意深くそれを見れば、シャッターを押すまでの迷いや、思いつきや、そんな感情もフレームとフレームの間に見つかるかもしれません。そういった意味で、ファイナルプリントは、本来表舞台に出ることのない、あるいは格好の悪い気持ちの揺れ動きの積み重ねなのです。

しかし何よりも、私がこのコンタクトシートを以ってもう一度確かめたかったことは、自分の大切な人を撮るというのは一体どういうことなのか、ということでした。
